Mobile Crane Operator

Our Company: CEC is a growing company based out of Kamloops, BC providing services throughout British Columbia. Our company has a fleet of mobile cranes and industrial equipment that we use for hoisting and installing heavy equipment, specializing in bridge building and rehab. We work in the heavy industrial construction sector. We provide mobile crane services as well as bridges, piling, fabrication, and jack & rolls. At CEC, we believe safety comes first above all. Our goal is to use our skills and field knowledge combined with safe work practices, to provide quality crane and industrial construction services to our community.

We are currently looking for full-time mobile crane operators.

Our operators must be certified to drive and operate our mobile cranes which vary in sizes from a 5 ton crawler to a 300 ton AT. Being qualified to operate up to a 35 ton Boom Truck is essential, however, a mobile crane hydraulic unlimited ton or lattice friction certification would be even better. Pile Driving experience would also be a definite asset. Due to the diversity of work CEC performs, it is realistic to say there would be some additional duties at times in order to get the job done such as bridgeman work. At CEC, we work as a team to get projects completed safely and efficiently and all workers assist where and when as needed. Any welding experience, ironworking, or maintenance/mechanic experience would also be beneficial to the position. We partner with IUOE 115 members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Class 1 driver’s license
• Red Seal Mobile Crane Operator
• Rigging Certification
• CWB Welding Certificate
• Fall Protection
• H2S Alive
• Confined Space Entry Certification
