Description: CEC carried out the bridge construction for the Shackan Bridge. The scope involved supplying and installing 30-meter-deep foundations with 24-inch diameter piles, utilizing both drop hammer and diesel hammer techniques for efficient installation. CEC also fabricated and installed steel pile caps to complete the substructure. As part of the project, the team modified one existing concrete abutment and formed and poured two new concrete, cast-in-place, abutments. The project concluded with the assembly and installation of a 55-meter Acrow bridge using engineered launch system with crane support for launch and tandem placement. This project was completed in a semi-secluded location without cell service, demonstrating CEC’s ability to deliver complex infrastructure solutions in remote environments.
