Another bridge project completed for the Ministry of Forests in July of 2022! This time, we were able to stay close to home as this bridge was only 20 minutes from town on Dairy Lake Road. As the prime contractor, we self-performed the whole bridge installation and earthworks, replacing the culverts that were originally in place. This is a small 13m concrete slab bridge built on steel pipe columns and precast footings with precast pile cap abutment walls over Beaton Creek, 5km off Greenstone Road. An interesting fact about this project is that we won the job in June 2021, but due to the wildfires we had to delay it by a year! We are glad we were able to finally get this project wrapped up for the Ministry of Forests.
