A Fleet of Mobile Cranes for Every Job
We own a well-rounded fleet of mobile cranes including ATs, hydraulic/lattice boom crawlers, truck mounted lattice friction cranes, carry decks, and boom trucks with capacities ranging from 5 to 300 ton all based out of our Kamloops yard. With this equipment in our back pocket, we are the perfect company to help you with any heavy lifting or erecting construction project. With our wide variety of options, CEC has the optimal crane for your heavy lifting needs.
Some of our notable units:
5 Ton Crawler
Don’t be fooled by this little unit—when it comes to reach, ‘The Grower’ plays in the big league. Though it may be small, this crawler packs over 50 feet of boom which condenses into 10 feet for maneuvering in small spaces. This unit is the perfect crane for assisting with hoisting on construction sites, including restricted access and low headroom locations. This crane works great as an assist crane or as a stand-alone unit with the option to pick and carry.
9 Ton Carry Deck
This crane is like putty, it can be molded into very tight spaces making it one of the only cranes that can perform lifts inside low headroom and limited spaces. This unit was designed to be the perfect piece of equipment for inside mines and mills and sneaking into small spaces where no other crane can get into.
35 Ton 6WD Boom Truck
This boom truck is unlike the others. What sets this beast apart is its two-speed gear box for slow speed and six-wheel drive feature allowing it to drive on all different terrains and reach sites with difficult or little access, such as hydro-electric powerline and pipeline right-of-ways. Other notable features of this unit are its optional remote control to aid the operator for blind or difficult lifts as well as the option of a pin-on man basket which can be used in place of a manlift for personnel access to difficult areas and under structures (or powerlines, for example). With 124 feet of main boom and 31 feet of additional jib, this boom truck can get the job done.
65 Ton Lattice Friction Truck Mount
Although this may not be our youngest crane, ‘Manny’ is one of the most unique and versatile units due to its lattice friction capabilities while operating on a rubber-tired chassis. This unit can pick and carry an impressive load with the lattice boom and still has an ‘over the rear’ chart on outriggers for the bigger lifts. This crane is also a great pile driver and brings us back to the roots of crane operations/pile driving.
110 Ton Lattice Boom Crawler
These units are essential and industry leading in today’s pile driving operations and prove to be very useful on large construction sites. Being track mounted, they are great for pick and carry operations while crawling around jobsites and helping with heavy lifting and erecting steel or precast structural components. The configuration of this crane makes it particularly easy to mobilize in its class.
110 Ton All Terrain
As a very active taxi crane, this unit sets up extremely quickly and in smaller locations than most of its competition. This crane travels with two winches and carries the jib everywhere it goes while maintaining an excellent chart capacity. When configured with zero counterweight, it performs approximately as a 75 ton class unit. Setting it apart from that class, it has the ability to scope out 171 feet of main boom with the additional 63 feet of jib making it an ideal choice. This unit has rear-wheel, all-wheel, crab-steering
abilities and has 3 out of 4 axles that can optionally drive when site access gets adverse such as hydro-electric and pipeline right-of-ways.
250 Ton All Terrain
These cranes boast an impressive 197 feet of main boom and 118 feet of jib. These cranes are an excellent choice when the load is extremely heavy, or the reach seems impossible. When it comes to mobility, these units are unique in that it will drive down the highway to a job site and have the ability to use 4 of their 5 axles to traverse steep slopes and difficult terrain. In addition to the notable mobility features, these units have rear-wheel, all-wheel, and crab-steering abilities for setting up in difficult locations with obstacles.
300 Ton All Terrain
This crane boasts an impressive 197 feet of main boom plus jib.
