Mushbowl Bridge, Wells Gray Provincial Park
This bridge rehab was done with Argo Raod Maintenance for the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastucture in Wells Gray Provincial Park, Clearwater, BC. It consisted of half timber trestle bridge, half steel bailey. For the timber half, we re-decked it with fresh timbers, replaced over half of the wooden supports underneath and polished it off with a fresh coat of paint on the sides. For the steel bailey, we engineered and constructed a jack & roll system to pull it onto the grounf, make the repairs and roll it back into place. We used our Manitowoc 1100 and an excavator to do a tandem hoise, attached custom rollers onto the bottom of the bridge section and rolled it onto the ground.
