THE DETAILS
In 2021, CEC had the pleasure of working for Parks Canada to replace the Bridge 74 on the West Coast Trail. In March of 2022, we went back to the West Coast Trail to do some more work for Parks Canada, finishing some trail upgrades. This time around, we did various repairs including minor bridge work, replaced all the pull ropes, and built a new platform for one of the cable cars. Our crew replaced the cable car sheaves, along with some other cable car repairs, and did various boardwalk repairs along the trail. In total, we completed works at ten different sites along the trail! It has been an absolute pleasure to get to work on this historic national treasure.
